What is resveratrol?
Resveratrol is a naturally occurring plant compound classified as a polyphenol. It is found in several plants, including Japanese knotweed and grape skins. Polyphenols are antioxidants studied in relation to oxidative stress caused by free radicals.*
This formula obtains its resveratrol from the root of Polygonum cuspidatum, commonly known as Japanese knotweed, and is standardized to contain 50% trans-resveratrol.
